Featuring dreamy white-sand beaches, pristine islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site at Leon Viejo, and the colonial city of Granada, Nicaragua is a unspoiled vacation destination that will reward travelers. Our small group expedition uses expert guides to journey to the best locations for a custom boutique experience. The largest and least densely populated country in Central America, Nicaragua is reminiscent of a less commercialized Costa Rica 20 years ago: undiscovered, lush, and stunningly beautiful.

Hotel El Convento, Léon

The San Francisco Convent was founded in the city of León in 1639 by the Reverend Brother Pedro de Zúñiga. It was the first convent in the city.

In 1995 the Hotel El Convento project began with the purchase of the site. The construction followed a design which sought to respect the architectural and colonial features of the building as well as incorporating the requirements of a modern hotel.

We take great care over the flavor and presentation of every dish of International cuisine served in our restaurant. El Victoriano offers gourmet cuisine to be enjoyed at lunchtime or at dinner in an intimate atmosphere, with excellent service, in the heart of the city.

Morgan's Rock Hacienda and Ecolodge

Located on a private beach and surrounded by tropical dry forest, Morgan's Rock provides the perfect blend of nature and comfort. Relax and enjoy the outstanding local food, the spectacular views of the ocean, and the sounds of birds and monkeys. Horseback riding, kayaking, surfing, sport fishing, 'monkey quest', yoga and massages are among the many activities available.

Hotel Plaza Colón, Granada

It was the home of many of the renowned families of Granada, the last of which decided to transform the house into a hotel.  The three neighboring properties were acquired, taking special care in keeping the style and architecture of the original house. The current facade of the hotel is the same as it was in the beginning of the 19th century.

You can start your day enjoying breakfast prepared with the freshest locally grown ingredients, accompanied by the best Nicaragua coffee, grown in the northern mountains of the country.

Hotel Plaza Colón is the first hotel in Granada to obtain the Rainforest Alliance Certification. This certification supports our commitment to the sustainable development of the community.
