Greetings!
As the weather is beginning to heat up (and the humidity levels rising) I'm sure that many of you have already started planning for your summer vacations! I hope that you all are able to escape somewhere pleasant, whether that be a sandy beach or a cool mountain retreat. Speaking of escaping, I'd also like to remind everyone that this is also the perfect time to think about making preparations for your fall/winter travel arrangements. Biotrek is heading to Peru from September 3-13, followed by Chile, from November 26-December 12, and rounding-out the year in style in Nicaragua (our debut adventure!), from December 26-January 3.

We have invested a lot of time planning our itineraries for these different destinations, and even though we feel strongly that they all have something unique to offer, we feel even more so that they all share the three hallmarks of a Biotrek adventure: people, culture and environment. People and culture have always been very important to our trips, as the most lasting impressions tend to be made not by the landscapes, as phenomenal as they may be, but by the personal connections that are formed during our journeys. Traveling with an appreciation for the environment and the different forms that it takes from destination to destination has also been one the pillars of Biotrek's itinerary design. We want you to see fantastic places that most travelers never will!
We hope that you all have a safe, relaxing summer and invite you to travel with us again this fall, whether it be to the Incan temples of Peru, the windswept valleys of Chilean Patagonia, or the colonial cities of Nicaragua. We know the memories will be unforgettable!
